![]() Cabbage saladIngredients1,5 pounds (1 large head) white cabbage, shredded1 cup white vinegar 3 tbsp salt 3 tbsp sugar 2 tsp caraway seeds 1 l boiling water. Instructions1. Salt the shredded cabbage and wait about 30 minutes2. Pour the boiling water into the bowl to cover the cabbage and set aside for about 10 minutes. 3. Add vinegar, sugar and caraway seeds and mix well. 4. Let set at room temperature for a couple hours. Then chill and serve. 5. Makes 8-10 servings. ![]() ![]() |
