Goulash, paprikash (pörkölt, paprikás)

Famous Hungarian goulash


Mushroom paprikas (Gombapaprikás)

1 kg mushrooms
100 g fat, or oil
150 g onions
100 g lecso
60 g smoked bacon
20 g Hungarian paprika
500 ml sour cream
salt to taste

1 Wash the mushrooms and slice into slices.
2 Heat the fat and add the finely chopped onions.
3 Fry until golden yellow. Add the paprika and a little water.
4 Add the mushrooms and season with salt.
5 When the water has evaporated, add cream and bring to boil.
