Goulash, paprikash (pörkölt, paprikás)

Famous Hungarian goulash


Chicken goulash 2. (Csirkepörkölt)


2 chickens breast
3 chickeg legs
100 g fat
3 onions
15 g Hungarian paprika
2-3 green peppers
2-3 tomatoes
1 garlic clove


1. Heat the fat. Fry the finely chopped onions till golden brown.
2. Add the paprika and the garlic.
3. Add the meat parts and stew with these ingredient over a high heat till the water has evaporated.
4. Then add the lecso.
5. Stew till the meat is tender.
6. Serve with galuska (Hungarian dumplings).
