Mushroom balls from CsesznekIngredients1 kg potatoes250 g flour 1 tbsp semolina 2 tbsp oil 1 egg 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 Mushroom paprikas (Gombapaprikás) 300 ml sour cream 1 tbsp flour Instructions1. Cook the potatoes unpeeled then break them.2. Mix it together with the oil, flour, semolina, salt and egg. 3. Spread the dough (approx. .5 cm thick) and cut it up to get 8 cm x 8 cm squares. 4. Take the mushroom pieces out of the mushroom paprikash and cut them up to very small pieces. 5. Put 1/2 tablespoonful of the mushrooms on each dough square, then take the corners of the squares, pull them together, and form a ball shape using your hands. 6. Cook the balls in salted water Mushroom paprikas (Gombapaprikás) mixed with sour cream, flour and 20 ml water to make Hungarian paprikash gravy (Paprikás szaft) and pour this over the balls when serving. previous next |
